The Customer

DeepFathom is a digital auditing and compliance solutions company serving sectors including finance, insurance, manufacturing, and hospitality. They help organisations audit management systems, assess risk, and demonstrate compliance and sustainability practices using AI-driven tools. Their focus is on helping businesses create commercial, environmental, and social value.

The Problem

DeepFathom had grown quickly by exposing customer-facing dashboards through a combination of BigQuery, Google Data Studio, and Looker layered on top of their application — a pragmatic approach that got them to market and proved demand. As their customer base and data volumes expanded, they reached the natural point where a dashboard-led experience needed to evolve into a fully productised application. They needed a purpose-built product layer that could scale with their ambitions, deliver a richer customer experience, and give them the performance headroom, security posture, and flexibility to move into new sectors with confidence.

The Solution

We took a two-fold approach. First, we built productised dashboards that went beyond data display by automating report generation — customers receive formatted email summaries and rich PDF reports (rendered server-side via Puppeteer) automatically on assessment completion. Second, we migrated their entire assessment workflow onto S16 Assessments, a service within S16 Platform. We performed a full data migration across their customer base and rebuilt the product on top of S16 Assessments. We used S16 Developer — our low-code platform — to deliver a customisable application quickly, avoiding lengthy custom development cycles while retaining full control over the experience.
